ProDrive US Inverter Support - Required Update

The following update is REQUIRED to add the support for US model families of Hitachi Inverter to your ProDrive Version 1.8.8.1 installation. Follow the steps below to install this update:

  • Install ProDrive 1.8.8.1 from the link given in the previous section.
  • Download and install the ProDrive Software Version 1.8.8.1 UPDATE from the link below. The link will download a zip file.
  • Unzip the files to your main ProDrive program folder, which also contains the prodrive.exe file.

Hitachi Drive Fitness Test is free hard drive diagnostic software available for use on most drives available today. The Drive Fitness Test (DFT) quickly and reliably tests SCSI, IDE and SATA drives.   2. IBM/HITACHI Drive Feature Tool (v1.99, Windows Boot-Diskette Creator): This is a DOS-bootable tool for changing various ATA features. The Feature Tool allows you to control some of the features of our Deskstar and Travelstar high performance ATA hard disk drives and supports 48-bit addressing, so it will work with the new large capacity drives.

Note: When you start ProDrive, be sure to select the support for US inverters in the ProDrive Setting window.
